What do we do?

The Mission Continues is excited to be a part of the Pittsburgh Community! Led by James O’Connor, a Marine Corps veteran, 1st Platoon Pittsburgh will be focusing on community revitalization in the Hazelwood area. This Pittsburgh neighborhood has been earmarked for a major redevelopment project. By focusing our efforts in this area, we hope to assist residents avoid displacement and enjoy a higher quality of living.

1st Platoon Pittsburgh will support Rebuilding Together Pittsburgh in early stage housing rehabilitation. Our vision is to engage the local population, collaborating with residents and community partners, to make a positive impact in the Hazelwood neighborhood.
